What is the discount a Disney World Castmember receives on park tickets?

I have a friend that is in Disney World working now and I am curious as to what the discount is she gets for tickets? I know she gets only so many free tickets a year but I also know she gets a substantial discount on regular ticket prices. Does anyone know what the cost for her to buy tickets would be? Thanks in advance!

Depending on their work status, they can get 3 people in for 6 or more days a year. Cast members do get a discount on buying tickets but I think its around 10% and its kind of difficult to do. You can only buy them at certain Company D’s, on certain days. Maybe your friend can ask other cast members they know if they have any comp tickets to give away (they can be used by anyone, without a cast member).

I would not go so far as calling it substantial. It can save you a few bucks. You will save more when you buy more days. Your friend can stop at any company D store or go the hub and pull up the latest tickets
